When I first heard about green juices and smoothies, I thought they would taste like grass. You probably did too, right? This Triple-C Green Juice is packed with leafy greens but it still tastes surprisingly sweet. Thanks to the addition of carrot greens and cilantro, it is really high in vitamin C, potassium, vitamin K and calcium. These are all essential for strong bones, toned muscles and a fast fat-burning metabolism. Ready to give it a try?
Triple-C Green Juice
SERVES: 1 person
EQUIPMENT: juicer OR blender + nut milk bag / cheesecloth
INGREDIENTS:
2 handfuls of carrot greens
2 medium pears
1 small stalk of celery
1 large handful of cilantro
½ large cucumber
½ lemon, partially peeled
½ to 1 tablespoon of ginger
DIRECTIONS:
Add carrot greens, pears, celery, cilantro, cucumber, lemon and ginger to the juicer. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
