This Green Detox Smoothie Bowl makes a fantastic quick keto breakfast. Don’t let yourself be fooled by the green color. Yes, it’s healthy and energizing thanks to the greens, but the taste might surprise you: sweet peanut butter heaven!
Packed with healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals, this makes a fabulous brain-boosting breakfast to burn fat for fuel. Serve it in a bowl with your favorite toppings (I used this ALL GOOD keto granola and fresh berries) or take it with you on the go as a speedy breakfast shake. You could even have it as a light lunch on days when you’re really in a rush.
Bonus points if you add a teaspoon or two of detoxifying greens to cleanse your liver and support glowing skin. I love adding spirulina (super high in protein and excellent to remove heavy metals from your body) or Biotona Phytodetox – a green superfood blend with dandelion, nettle, wheat grass, turmeric, chlorella and more.
Are you allergic to peanuts? Swap the peanut butter for almond or hazelnut butter. Allergic to nuts? You could try it with sunflower butter or unsalted roasted tahini as well (both are stronger in taste and slightly bitter so you might want to add a bit of extra vanilla protein).
I use this vegan keto friendly vanilla protein powder. Makes it taste nice and sweet + it helps to feel satisfied for longer.
